looking for a gas cap and gas tank for a 1965 6 cyl dodge dart station wagon. trying to restore and put back on the road. I lost the gas cap and the tank is leaking. Need these parts to get an inspection.

I know this is completly out of the conversation but I figure I h\give it a try . My uncle has a 1963 Dodge Dart wagon for sale with a slant 6 that was overhauled a couple of years back by a machine shop . the wagon is in pretty good shape . He's letting it go for $2.500 it has many new parts

 

Try your local auto parts store for a gas cap. It will probably be a special order. Just got one for a '67 Charger a day ago. I went with a locking cap as you could stick a fire hose down the fuel spout to siphon the tank dry.

 

I have a 19v5 dodge dart wagon, 270 model that I am parting out. I do not have the cap but the tank is still on it. I have a 65 dart wagon 270 model that I am parting out. The fuel tank is still on it, the cap is not. I bought it for parts and got what I need. Let me know If I can help you out.
