BLOWER ANYONE?
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A BLOWER, BLOWER MANIFOLD AND STUFF LIKE THAT ONLINE? I'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE BUT I'M STARTING TO THINK I WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND ONE...YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, THAT FAST N FURIOUS PART I WHERE VIN DIESEL HAD THE '67 GOAT WITH A BLOWER AND STUFF...CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT HERE AND ALSO LET ME KNOW EVERYTHING I NEED BESIDES A BUILT ENGINE, LIKE PARTS FOR IT AND STUFF LIKE THAT....THANX!
First, the car was a 69 Charger, not a goat.
Secondly, I just responded to your cam post. It seems like you don't know what you want (440+6, cam swap in current motor, blower etc.). There's nothing wrong with that, but make up your mind on what you want before you go picking parts. Putting a blower on your current set-up could be very harmful if the internals aren't up to the task. If it's an old motor, you will most likely get blow-bye as the rings will not be able to handle the boost. Also, if you are going to go wtih a blower, pick a cam that fits your blower. You may need less lift, but greater duration to help with the blower. Also, I think a wider LSA will make a blower easier to handle and tune (I'm not a blower guy, so I'm just going on what I have read).
Just set your mind one way, and go from there. It'll be cheaper in the long run to take some time now and decide what you really want.
