Default What to do to my 68 dart

Just bought a 68 dart, repainted in 99 looks great, got the disk brake conversion, and just bought a 440 to go into it. Also have the needed K bracket. Older cars are new to me and was looking for some insight on how to set up the car to make it a street sleeper. Was wondering if their were any knowledgeable people that could show me where to look so I can learn all I need to know. Big plans for the engine, but I know that there is a whole lot more to a car besides the engine. Any help would be great.

If you want it to be a sleeper then it has to sound fairly quiet and look like grandma's car, make it look as plain as it can be. You'll want plain wheels like the factory steelies or cop style wheels.

Start at the ground and work up if it'll be a sleeper leave stock appearing wheels nothing fancy. then head to suspension. For the front a tubular K member with tub a arms. Takes some weight off the front end. then out back replace that little rearend with something that'll take to forces put on it by that 440. I use a Dana 60 behind the ones i build. Stange builds the rears fully assembled just add brakes when you get it put it in place weld on the spring perches and your done. Here is a pick of the raw front end and rear end

I used disks/6 piston cal. on all four corners
