I managed to break a key off in the ignition of 1972 Dodge Demon Duster. Any ideas on getting this out, can it be tapped? Will I have to get new clynder? Please help??

 

i have a 340 in my 72 demon and is not numbers matching. Code is HM 340 R. What does the R stand for? I have a 2nd numbers matching 340 and it does not have the R in the engine serial number.

 

a lock smith has a little tool which goes in next to the key and grips on the way out. Its a bit with burrs on it
