this may sound crazy but i'm very protective of my new Neon ('97 flame red) and i'm going to camp for about a week and a half and the car is going to be sitting down there in the sun all that time. and according to the weather its supposed to be in the 80s-90s all week. add the fact that kids will be around it and such i was wondering what type of wax and polish would protect it the best from the sun?

 

I use mcguire's. This may sound retarded, but you could always invest in a quality car cover. all the thickest, best wax in the world wont protect it from the kids. but look for some wax with good UV protection. haha, sunscreen for your car!

Best of show wax from Griots garage is great. If that's too much, Zymol or Meguires are good.
