I just finished a hell of a weekend trying to polish these rims...by hand. I dont have the attachments and they needed it bad. The previous owner had given me a jar of what he used. Something called Blue Magic...more like a Blue Curse!! My knuckles were tore all to hell, my arms, back, butt(from sitting on a bucket) and legs were killing me, oh yeah, I also hurt my foot in the process...yeah ok, enough whining already right? Ok. Sorry. So anyway, I call the local professionals on wheels and tires, Mincz Tire, they have been in business for years, had their own TV show and all, well the guy there said, 'Bring her on by after work and I will try this polish I have here, it works like a dream!' So I get up there after work, we go outside to my truck and he starts polishing one rim. OMG I bout fell out. It looks brand new!! I bought it and will do all of them tomorrow night. It went on easy as pie, blackened up quickly, and then came off like nothing! There was no hard pressing or anything. I will now swear by this stuff. Its called Busch Super Shine Aluminum Polish. This bottle is 8oz and ran me $13.00 - its definitely worth it. The other stuff was only like $6.00 a jar and just is horrible to work with.

I will post a before and after pic tomorrow. I just wanted to share this with everyone as soon as I could. I have included a pic of before I even touched them with the other stuff.

Do they still have the plastic coating on them? And was there any gritty texture to the polish?

Thanks. Here's rim hand buffed to mirror shine.....Had to peel plastic coating off before polishing...

Posted a couple pics for you 02QCGirl.....they were hand polished...and plastic stripped....
