Default Reat Windshield Tint Help!!

Hi, I was planning on tinting my 04' Stratus at home, i am very confident that I'll be able to do the job right, the only thing I am concerned about is the rear windshield. i know that you are suppose to put the tint on the inward side of the windsheild, but that way the window defogger lines show from the outside, and brown lines thourgh black tinit that TOTALLY kills the look for me. I was thinking if I could somehow put the tint on the outside that would make this issue go away, but then again it might aggrivate it more. So, i turned to you guys, ANY SUGGESTIONS!!

Tint will NOT survive on the outside of the glass ....

Your rear window is pretty curved and a little tricky to get it done in one piece ...
I cut it oversized and then wet down the entire OUTSIDE of the window , lay the tint on the window , liner side facing out then carefully use a heat gun to "shrink" the tint to the shape of the window... be sure to keep it wet down as it will dry with the heat gun ... once you get the general shape you will apply it to the inside of the window ...

Thank You for the reply, but i am aware of how to put the tint on. I just wanted someone to help me cover up those defogger lines. I am afraid that if i put the tint on the inside those line will be extra visible, and every will be able to see them, especially me. My Dad drives a dodge caravan, and his deffoger lines arent visible from the outside, thats what i want.

Privacy glass on a mini van is FAR different as the glass itself as tinted, If the defroster lines are that big of a deal buy a rear window with no defroster ...

By you asking if you can put the tint on the outside CLEARLY shows that you have no idea how to apply tint and your car will look like crap if the stuff even stays on. If you know how to apply it, then why ask such a ridiculous question. Asking a ridiculous question like that and you will get what you think are ridiculous answers!
What's the big deal with seeing the defrost lines anyways? Get a rear window that doesn't have them! That's the only way to cover them up. Most cars have them. The reason your fathers defrost lines aren't visible is because he has Factory tinted windows. The tint coloring is towards the ouside of the glass on the other side of the lines!
