I don't know of anything that really works guaranteed. Grew up in Maine and go to college in New York so we get all the nasty stuff, road salt, calcium, that other mix they use... Best advice I can give you is take the car through the automatic car wash at least once every other week during the winter, once a week if you're getting a lot of storms. Make sure you use a brushless wash (the brushes can leave microscratches in your paint) and that you get one of the options that has undercarraige wash. I've done this with my past three vehicles now and found it makes a big difference in how fast things rust compared to some of my friends who don't wash their vehicles often in winter (usually with the reasoning "well it'll be dirty again in no time"). If you don't let the stuff sit on your car long it won't have a chance to do as much damage, the corrosive salt and other chemicals are what really rusts it fast.
Buy a really cheap pressure washer and just spray the under carriage, the wheel wells, the bumpers, and around the wheel wells. I bought a no-name washer and I spray mine and in a year, I have no rust on my bumpers at all. Little on the hidden hitch, but that's to be expected. I picked up my washer on sale at Canadian Tire for around $64.99.
