Default removing spray paint and goo

On the rear end of my quarter panel there is a mist of spray paint.

I also took the dodge lettering off my car and cannot fully get rid of the goo.
On one it seems like its into the paint its not even residue really.

I tried many different things and have not been able to remove them fully.

Any suggestions?

thanks detail king for posting to my question in the other thread.

Could you go into more detail or is that basically it.

I rather put money into other things right now with what I have on hand.

Would a heat gun do more damage then good to remove the lettering residue?

Clay bar might work and rubbing compound to take the really stubborn stuff off.

3M adhesive remover / WD40 and Kerosene are all good removers on the residue / wask and wax the area when you are done
