Ultimate detailing work - 6.5 hours !!!!!!
I was ready to shoot myself at the end !!!!
Decided to clean/wax my 2012 3500HD Dually 8 foot bed.
1. First I power-washed the **** out of it with a soap and rinsed. Then drove home - 30 minutes spent
2. I manually washed it at home again ( Meguiars Hyper Wash), scrubbed the front area with a bug-sponge and rinsed again - 1 hour
3. Dried it out with microfiber towels - 30 minutes with break.
4. Using a Meguiar's Final Inspection 34 and Blue Magic Clay bar and microfiber towels I clay-bar-ed the whole car - I couldn't believe how much crap were still on the car after two back to back washes. ----1.5 hours.
5. Break 1 hour
6. Wax time - Collinite Fleetwax and microfiber - around 2 hours.
the results --- spectacular !!!!. Collinite Fleetwax should be really water resistant.
Wondering how many times can I was the car before re-waxing it again?

Pictures or it didn't happen! I used to spend 6 hours a week detailing one of my cars until I had two kids...now it needs it way more but the time isn't there so I pay someone to get it like half way there then take over for the waxing, etc.
