Default question about spray protectant/shine

Hey guys. I know that this section isn't utilized much, but I decided I still ought to try. Anyway, I bought a bottle of spray protectant/shine (Vista brand, I think) the other day after reading a bit that it apparently works quite well. I washed my car the day before, let it cool over night, and then applied it. It actually worked really well (my car looks better than it ever has) BUT, I couldn't get some of the streaks out no matter how hard I fought with them. I used two microfiber towels (one to spread and the other to dry). They weren't the highest quality though. Any tips on how to avoid this problem?

Thanks!

I would use a clay bar to remove the spray wax and then start over using a sealant or conventional carnauba wax.

Any specific brands that are good for the sealant/carnauba wax? I've never really done much detailing, so any tips are much appreciated too!

I use Wolfgang 3.0 paint sealant and Pinnacle Souveran carnauba wax. Menerza is supposed to be very good, too. www.autogeek.net and www.detailedimage.com are great sites.

If you're planning to apply carnauba wax after using sealant, you can use detail spray as well to remove or reduce the dust on the surface of your ride.
