Can anyone give advice on a good undercoating to use on vehicles to help prevent rust. Anyone have experience with different types of undercoatings? Ive talked to some people and some say rustoleum paint some say 3M products, just would like to get some different opinions and true experiences with different products good and bad.

Each spring I powerwash the underside of my truck and re-spray with generic undercoating I buy at walmart. Thats all I got.

 

Pay close attention to the rust prone areas of the vehicle. Some have well known areas that rust will form first. Undercoating can help if done correctly but i have seen it trap water in and cause more problems.

 

I would use por15 or chassis saver to prevent rust.
