On my 97 dodge ram the trim that runs from the front to the back at the botom of my truck is flakeing and the clear cover looks like crap, can i remove it, if so how, or is it on their for good?

im guessing your talking about that black and "chrome" crap that looks like Chair rail. i took mine off with a plastic scraper and alot of adhesive remover. once you get a good size piece pulled away from the paint you can just pull it off section by section pretty easy. just make sure you have plenty of adhesive remover and a few hours to devote to this. took me like 3 can of remover and a few beers.
