Default paint on paint

I just noticed today that i ran over some paint, it goes all the way down my truck. IS there anything i can use to get rid of it without harming my paint, i already tried to use that clay and it didnt work at all.

Perhaps wetsanding with 2000 or finer paper will work. Or perhaps rubbing compound, if you have not tried this already, by hand. You must be careful and this can be very time consuming but, if clay did not work, you may have to resort to compounding or wetsanding. If you need specific help, you can always e-mail me. I will give you as much information as I can.

Hope that helps...

What kind of paint did you run over? and is your paint job urathane? If it is, since urathane clear coats are chemically dried they arnt affected by thinners where as laquer based paints are... most new vehicles are urathanes so get some thinner wipe it off quickley and then wash it.... you should be ok. ( PS test in an inconspicuous spot to make sure)

some lacqure thinner on a red shop rag it will take it right off, unless its the paint that they use to paint the lines on the road with
it will remove that too but it will take a bit longer
wax the area when finished removing paint that you dont want on there
try this and you will realize it works like a charm
