Default Interior Dilema

On my back seat in my Liberty there is a pretty large oil stain, on both the leather and cloth(Columbia Edition), Im not exactly sure how it got there but, what I think it is is that...I had my pocket rocket in my liberty a ways back and it leaked oil.

What would you suggest on getting it out? Ive tried carpet shampoo with the vacum thing, but it didnt really work

Hmmm, a hard one for sure. I have used the non abrasive hand cleaner (type in little jar for us DIY'ers). Not sure how well it work on the leather, but works great for the cloth.

I worked it in and let it disolve the oil, then if you still have the vacuum, soak with plenty of water and suck it out. I used a shop vac for that too.

I have one of those carpet spot cleaners with upholstery attachment and it works great on my cloth seats. Keeps them looking new.

Be careful on the leather, the hand cleaner may dry it out, condition the leather when done.

maybe do a search on google for oil stain removal. Macguires or other companys may have a website for just that.

Good luck.
