Question What New batteries should I purchase?

Hi, new to the forum and need advice on batteries. We have a 1998, Ram 3500 dually, 5.9 Cummings, dual batteries; that we nearly stole when the diesel prices where through the roof. We purchased our beautiful truck in hopes of traveling when I retire. Wife wants a 'big' mobile-home behind it.

The batteries are not a matched set, date wise, and they are RV deep cycle batteries to boot.

Anyway with sub-zero temps the tuck wont start if left in the parking lot while I am at work for 12 hours + travel. So is there anyone out there that would enlighten me as to what batteries to buy? Our son is a mechanic at Newmont Gold in NV and he suggested the glass mat batteries. He works on Cat's and did not know which one would be best for our 5.9 liter 24-valve Cummins diesel engine.
Thanks, Ed

there are 3 different ones, red top, yellow top (deep cycle) and blue top (marine) the marine's have extra top posts if you run accessories, none are really any better than the others IMO, i run tham all
