hi why does my dodge cummings start fine but only run for a few mins and stop you can start it right back up again and again but it allways stops like some one is turning the key of

 

Do you have a 24 valve? If so, I'd be willing to bet your lift pump is garbage and you're going to destroy your $1000 injection pump if you keep trying to run it, if it's not already.

 

thx i have not tryed it many times in case i broke some thing .will change the lift pump out if i can find instructions on how to do it some where . trk is in mtns parked so i need to do it my self .not a really good mech .are they easy to replace???
