Must be2-4 years now, they took a late 80 to early 90 dodge ram with a cummins and claim they got 29mpg and 800 ft/lbs of torque. Anyone remember such an article, what was done to the truck, if it's even possible?

probably injectors, lots of timing on the pump, and either propane injection or water/meth or both...

gotta keep stock tire size and long gearing to get good mileagle

It's a VE pumped first gen, and yeah, iirc it's got a turbo, nitrous, injectors, meth, and some other things going for it.

I would LOVE to get 25 on the highway out of mine, however I believe I need to do a fair bit of tweaking to get there.

talk about expensive 25mpg...nitrous is not cheap...and water/meth adds to the fillup bill as well.
