Default Transmission condensation

There is a small weeper hole just behind the flywheel on the bottom of my transmission. It's a 2006 Dodge RAM 3500 dually. After the truck is turned off and parked, water will come out of this hole and create a good sized puddle. I have been told by Dodge and other mechanics that this is normal condensation. I'm wondering if I should believe this because it has a slight oily feel to it and is rusty in color. It's also an automatic tranny.

Any help would be great.
Bob
