I have 2012 cummins if i put a smarty tuner on with dpf delete kit will i get black smoke? And wat is the max power i can add without hurtting my tranny?

 

Smoke is bad. Forget about smoke, you want the least possible. The lower levels would have less.

With no trans tuning, the life of the trans is shorter than if you had tuning. Smarty isn't the best for a 6.7, I suggest you get H&S with the Overdrive trans tuning and enjoy. Your truck and transmission will thank you.

This was at our dyno day last month on the 10th. we had a truck from every major generation there

347hp/742tq stock programming + delete
426hp/959tq H&S mini maxx + delete

make sure you hold on to your stock exhaust incase you ever have to go through inspections or need warranty work...that stock exhaust system costs something like $7,000

 

I say EFI Live you cant get the good "Race" Tuners from H&S anymore and if you find one you pay out the a$$ for it. H&S's new "Street" Tuners just arent the same as the old ones where and from what i have heard the don't offer DPF delete tunes anymore but not really sure.

 

It's a 2012. How's he gonna run EFILive on a platform that isn't supported by them?

 

I got my tuner from ebay.... i paid a little more but its the. Only place i could find the old tuner with the dpf delete software

 

EFI-Live is only available for 06-09 on cummins.

 

Where can i go to get the information about unplugging my dpf and egr so i dont end up unplugging the wrong plugs?
