Default 99 Cummings fuel issue

Had a small fuel leak when we bought our 99 dodge ram 2500 24v. Narrowed it down to the fuel heater so we replaced the oring on the fuel heater and replaced the fuel filter to. Took about a hour to get it primed with 1 and 4 cracked had a rough idle then smoothed out. We then drove it down the highway for about 20 mins then shut it off for a hour . Went to leave and it wouldn't start again had to do 3 bumps to prime the system again. It's done this about 4 times today now were we would shut it off and it won't keep a prime on it trying to figure out what it could be

leak somewhere in the fuel system.

You also need a fuel pressure gauge on there to make sure you are getting adequate fuel pressure. Low fuel pressure will kill the injection pump pretty quick like...
