I'm getting a ticking sound like the sound of a exhaust gasket leak on the left side of the engine. Naturally all the exhaust is on the right side. You only hear it while in the cab and many times it goes away after running warm for awhile. A little background on this workhorse it now has shy of 160k and at 60k I started hearing this exhaust leak ticking like sound. Mechanics found nothing but at 130k a fuel rail connector broke and after the repair the sound went away. I figured it took awhile to develop maybe. But the sound is returning and I am wondering if this has something to do with the fuel system being that the sound seems to be coming from that left side area.
