Foglights on with parking lights Avenger 1st Gen
This is a copy and paste from another site, unfortunately, the person that wrote it didn't "sign" it so I can't give him/her credit, but by no means did I write it. Perhaps the original writer of this how-to may see this and claim credit for it. Until then, it's here for all to see and use
This mod will allow you to have your fog lights lit with your parking lights.
its really simple...go get an automobile fuse holder from
radioshack, take out the 15A foglight fuse and insert a
broken fuse of any amperage (the green 30A in the picture)
so that one end of the fuse holder is jammed into the
right side of the foglight fuse.
then pull up the
taillight relay (shown in the picture) and put the other
leg of the fuse holder into the left-most vertical slot
under the relay...push the relay down and now your fog
lights work with your parking lights!!!
To add on to this, instead of a broken fuse, you can also get blade or spade connectors that will fit in the blade fuse slot just the same and that will help keep the area "clean". I wish I had taken a picture of the way I did mine when I had my fogs in, but you can also use shorter wires and route the wire and fuse holder neatly. The fuse holder can be propped in between the relays and the fuse wall.Avenger1stGen
