My 1998 Dodge Avenger 2.5 ENGINE DIED OUT PLS HELP!
Hi, I was driving my 98 dodge avenger this afternoon and it didnt make any weird noises or anything like that, but when I got home to pick up my boyfriend to go to the movies, we were 1 mile away from our house then when we stopped at the stop light, THE ENGINE SHUTTED OFF, we turned off the whole car and tried starting it again, it'll turn on for 3 sec's then turned off again. We pulled over to the side then we tried starting it again and it finally starts, we even drove it back home for 1 mile. I just dont want to drive it for now. I am just scared that the engine will stopped in the middle of the road when I pressed on the brakes, my car didnt do this before. PLEASE HELP!!!! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT MY CAR SHUTTED DOWN LIKE THIS. I was thinking of a spark plugs, battery, fuel pump or something. PLS HELP!
