Trouble accelerating past 30 mph
Hello,
I currently have a 2009 Dodge Avenger with 2.4 Liter engine(4 cylinder). About 3 weeks ago my check engine light came on and when I took to Autozone I received an error message with either faulty fuel or fuel injection/pump problem. When I took my car to a mechanic, he tested it and got the intake manifold error. He reset the check engine light since I had different error codes.
My check engine light then came on again and when I took my car back to my mechanic the intake manifold error came back on. He said it was probably just the intake sensor. Therefore, I changed the intake sensor yesterday. However, now I am having issues accelerating. I cannot accelerate past 30 mph. When I asked Autozone to check the error on my engine light again, I got the intake manifold error message, P02017.
Does anyone know why my car can't accelerate past 30 mph? It was working fine prior to changing the intake sensor. I appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Mike
