Is it just me or do they suck! So, got in my car the other day and the gear shift did nothing. Did some research found a video on YouTube. Sure enough was the little bushing that has corroded over time. Had slipped off entirely. I order the replacement bushing ( after lots of research for the right one) did as I was told I warmed it up and was able to fit it right in. Problem is for some reason I just feel like it’s loose…. Was there always slack? Am I supposed to be able to pop it off? What happens if I drive it and the bushing slips… since I DIY most of my car fixed just want to make sure I didn’t do something wrong. I’ll add the part that as recommend below. Asking for a friend ! Thanks
