Paul M,

The sound system it one of the best points. I wasn't going to get it at first then because the color I wanted had it in it I said ok. I enjoy classical music and it is great on long drives. The low bass really comes thru.

The CVT so far has been great but then again I only have 2000 miles on my SXT.

Someone else will have to talk about color.....

Regards

On color, dont go with the sunburst orange or the red! Theres way too many of those two colors out there! If I were you, I'd go with that steel blue. Its different and you dont seee too many of that particular color out there. Then again, this is your car, so damn what anyone else thinks! Get what you like! Cheers!

The standard 66 watt radio & CD player w/four 6 by 9 inch speakersis great. You don't need the musicgate system, altho that is wonderful too.I play an instrument & love instruments. The bass has a nice rolling depth, the midrangegives good presence to flutes & oboes, & the treble has good spice tohighstrings. Overall the treble may be a bit weak, but keeps static low. Stay with the standard radio & save a lot of money.

Red& orange are wonderful colors. That is why people are getting them. Don't let the numbers of these colors keep you from getting those colors. Actually, black & the steel bluecolors are even more popular.

Treat the CVT transmission like an propellor driven airplane. Setthe tranny to D(drive), set your rpms with the pedal, & away you go. Just like an airplane, you accelerate down the road(runway), but the rpms don't change. Enjoy the sensation.

I guess its a regional thing...I have yet to see a steel blue Caliber on the road or anywhere else for that matter. I live in central MN and commute to Minneapolis on a regular basis. I see lots of black, orange, red, and white ones, but no steel blue.

Actually, orange is a rare color here. Seen a lot of the blue ones.
