TSB#18-031-07 April 28 flash CVT update
I just got back from my free oil change at the dealership, while
there I talked to tech regarding TSB 18-031-07 and brought in hard
copy of it they weren't aware of it and were suprised I was plus the
copy.
They did the flash update and WOW what a difference, acceleration
has changed dramatically and now I have to check the tach to see if
it's still running.I'll post how it effects mpg for the better or worse.
I also wanted the emergency brake adjusted as I use it everyday
and the handle was getting higher with every week.
It did need adjusting, but you can do it yourself as the tech showed me.
Park on level surface and engage the emerge over and over the handle
will slowly get lower and lower.I had to do it about 30 or so times.
The flash definitely required for my Caliber.

Is that the one which fixes the jumping after you come down from altitude ? That was only for the early models in 2006 or is this a different one ? Where did you find the information ?

No this TSB was generated to correct the hesitation when you accelerate
from a stop with the CVT and to correct the engine setting that cause some
Calibers to sound like diesels at idle or very low rpm..
For some reason I can't upload the PDF of this tsb to this forum
however it is availiable on other Caliber formuz
It affects all Calibers with the problems irregardless of build date
and Jib01 it's not for the altitude problem.
