Okay so I have had my Caliber for a year and haven't had much luck with it. Now I am a month away from having my child only to come across the difficulty of fitting my rear facing car seat in the back of my car....it does not fit! Any suggestions or anyone else with this problem? Dodge had no answers for me and tells me I should probably take a $10,000 loss and just accept my fate and buy a new car....if this is a family car they how come car seats don't fit?

RE: Baby Seat Problems in the Caliber
I have not had a rear facing seat in my Caliber but I do have a booster seat
for my 5 yr old grandaughter on the drivers side and have quite a bit of room.
Is there a possibility that it would fit comfortabily in the center rear position?
That particular position may also allow you to slide your drivers seat all the
way back to be able to tend to baby when safe and needed.
There are many style add on belts you can buy to secure the seat properly.
Good luck!

Nope, it does not fit in the middle. My two year old neices seat fits fine...but that is an upright. The seats do not leave enough room for the seat to fit. Any other suggestions?

Sorry wish I had a solution-what a bummer that is!
I don't know what I would do in your position.
All the best and good luck!
