Default Right high beam no power

Well this all started when I put aftermarket headlights in my 07 Caliber SE. Same wattage as oe bulbs. My right high beam kept burning out after just a couple times of use. After the 3rd bulb replace I replaced both bulbs with the oe bulbs. Now that High beam went out and when I test the socket for power there is no power for the high beam. Can someone tell wha'ts happening here wether a relay, regulator. short and where I can find the trouble. This is only right side.
Any info is appreciated!!
Thanks, Larry

According to the service manual the control of the headlights
is based in the TIPM (totally integrated power module)
or in plain language the assy the fuses are located in
drivers side rear under hood.
This unit is multifunction and can detect high current
conditions in its onboard diagnostic computer and will shut
functions down.
If you have not damaged the lamp socket or burnt wiring
then your only recourse is to take it to a dealer who can
do full diagnostics/replace the TIPM or reset it with Scantool.

Thank you for that info. I will see if my scan tool will detect it if not I will take it to the dealer.
Thanks again!

I am having a similar problem with my 07 Caliber. My left high beam just quit working. I thought the bulb was burnt so I replaced it. The new bulb didn't work either. I was just curious what you found with your scantool. As you can imagine, I want to aviod a trip to the dealer.

Thanks!
