new owner of caliber
hi everyone just wanted to say im purchasing a 2007 dodge caliber tomorrow
it has 93000 miles great condition .test drove it seems to drive great..
as a deal they are putting new breaks and rotors for me and extended warranty for 2 years..
wanted to ask
is this car hard to maintence and does it need a timming belt and water pump by 10000 miles like the neons..
anyone have opinions on this model

No, this is a fairly low maintenance cars.
Just spark plugs every 30k, trans service every 100k. check filters, tires, etc... That's about it.
However, front suspension may wear out a little faster and needs attention occasionally.

No, change the Fluid and Filter. But it could be a little expensive for CVT trans. as Fluid alone may cost $100.
The Caliber is no luxury vehicle, but I think they are pretty good economy daily driver beater.
