2011 Dodge Caliber Ignition stuck
Hello,
Has anyone encountered a problem with a "stuck" ignition? The key slides in just fine, but the actual turning mechanism seems to lock. After jiggling the wheel, it may allow to turn.
If this is the ignition cylinder, or ignition lock or an "actuator pin" (I am not sure what my model 2011 Caliber Express has), does it require Mopar only part from the dealer or can it be a Duralast part?
If anyone knows how much the dealer charges for this, I would greatly appreciate the help.
Thank you,
Melanie

Does not have to be a dealer part if you can find an aftermarket equivalent. Can't tell you what the dealer would charge as all have different labor rates. Best to call around a few places and ask.
