I read somewhere there is the possibilty of having the I4 diesel engine for this. And it sounded like the same one they use for the Jeep Liberty CRD. Any thruth into that?

 

do you have any pictures in different colors, the red isn't really doing anything for me, but i don't like red on anything, even the charger i want so badly.

 

there is indeed a diesel model, but everything that i have read indicated that it was only for european release, for now, and that it is using a VW/Audi diesel, not the CRD. the VW engine makes 134 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque, so it seems like a stout little engine.

Techmanbd, I have not been provided with any information pertaining to an I4 diesel engine in the Dodge Caliber. My suggestion is to keep checking www.dodge.com and they will up-date you with any up-coming revisions or new releases. At the same time nickoman01, the www.dodge.com does provide all colors available for the Dodge Caliber. Check it out! My favorite is the Marine Blue Pearl…just my 2 cents
