Does anyone know if Dodge will let someone get an SXT Sport with Orange inserts if I get one in Black Exterior? I really like the orange inserts, but I'm not sure I want to get a Sunburst Orange Caliber just to get them. I don't see a code for it either...

I'm thinking its not possible. I've seen no where that says where you can and there's no separate Chrysler code for the seat, only a code for Sunburst Exterior Color. It's something that Dodge does all the time, limit your choices. Its kinda blows too. It looks to me that Red or Blue are going to be the two main color choices. Blue doesn't look nearly as good in person as it does in pictures. Its too light IMO. I haven't seen red inserts in person, only in pics, but does look quite well, but not as well as Sunburst Orange inserts.

Man I really want orange inserts. Now I gotta decide on whether or not I want Sun Burst Exterior. I've seen one and it does look really good. Has anyone else seen one a Sun Burst Orange Caliber? If so, your thoughts on it?

Its definitely NOT the same orange Dodge put on last years Neon. Its much brighter (Orange on Neon seemed very dull looking), almost the same color as Go Man Go! Orange that Dodge puts in the RAM HEMI Sport, and Charger Daytona R/T.

 

I'm not sure which color the inserts come in but on the dodge build 'n' price, it shows blue:




But to answer your question, yes.

 

The order process on KBB.com shows blue and red as available inserts, but neither is available on several colors. So, I think the orange seat inserts are only available with the orange exterior.

Unfortunately you are not able to receive Orange inserts with Black exterior. You would have to purchase the Sunburst Orange exterior color.
However, with Black exterior you can choose either Red inserts or Marine Blue.

that's what i'm picking up tomorrow baby!!! yyeeeeeeaaaaahhhhh!!!!

 

Man that kinda sucks! I'm not sure if I want black exterior anyways tho because I live on a dirt road and the parking lot at work is a dirt parking lot so it would CONSTANTLY be dirty. I'm really thinking about getting Sunburst Orange so it doesn't show the dust as much.

I say get the black Caliber and then later, go to the Dodge parts center and see if they can order the material for you or new seats...
