Default 17" Chrome 5 Spoke Dodge Caliber Wheels $$??

Anyone know how much the five spoke chrome wheels that are shown on the last page of the Caliber brochure will go for?
Is it a wise choice to order these from the dealer I bought the car from? Note: I don't have the car yet (ship date = 5/08, yay!!).

You can get it at www.leeparts.com

Its $229.00 for the 17" Aluminum wheel like the Caliber SXT Sport. If you're thinking of getting 4, you should have ordered the wheels with it as Dodge will only charge you $400 for all 4 instead of $230 for 1 wheel.

Leeparts has pretty much all of the Dodge Caliber Accessories. The lone exception I don't see on there is the bright pedal kit which is something I would recommend. I plan on getting it for my Caliber SXT Sport.

Hey LuckyBoy2007,
First...I would like to say, Congrat's on your new purchase [sm=smiley20.gif] How exciting!

The five spoke chrome wheels seen on the last page of the 2007 Dodge Caliber brochure, are on an R/T AWD model. Is this the model you ordered? The five spoke 18" Aluminum Wheel comes standard. If you were to upgrade to the 18" Chrome-Clad Aluminum Wheels when ordering the vehicle, they would cost an extra $700.
To order the 18" Chrome-Clad Aluminum Wheels afterwards, separately, you would need to speak with your local DCX dealership, the Parts department, and they will be able to assist you with accurate pricing.

Hope this helps.
If you need assistance in locating a DCX dealership in your area, let me know.

Thanks

Kelly S

It's not a wise choice to buy them from the dealer. Honestly, 04StratusR/T said it right. If you really wanted the chrome wheels, you should have gotten them with the car as it would have been way cheaper not to mention the lack of need to buy new tires or swap them around.

If you really want wheels, consider going aftermarket. The price is comparable and you would get wheels that you like at a lower cost. To purchase new stock chrome wheels for my Stratus is something like $300 a pop.....I paid $752 for new wheels AND tires....

The Caliber is running a 5x114.3 bolt pattern and there are tons of options in the aftermarket with chrome, black, gun metal, and polished aluminum in the 17x7 stock size. If you wanted to move up to the 18", you could do it, but thats going to cost more regardless of what wheel you go with, unless you get something on clearance.

Edit: The Caliber's 17" wheel is a 17x6.5 in stock size...but virtually all aftermarket wheels push it to 17x7 when you purchase new wheels. Makes for more tire on the road

I am looking at getting some new rims for my caliber and I have the 17" stock aluminum clad wheels that come on the SXT Caliber so I will be looking to sell those rims if anyone is interested, as previously stated they go for 200, they only have about 1200 miles on them total, i took the car off of the lot with o miles
