These are some of the European SXT Options and STD Equipment
Notice the 2 liter Autostick ONLY IN EUROPE!!!!
Caliber will be available with the choice of three engines developed as part of the world engine program. Two, four cylinder 16 valve (DOHC) petrol engines, a 1.8 litre petrol with 5 speed manual transmission, 148 bhp and 38.7 mpg on the combined cycle, this engine is available in S, SE and SXT trim levels. A 2.0 litre petrol engine with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), 154 bhp and 34.9 mpg on the combined cycle, available on SXT and SXT Sport.
The new Caliber will offer the latest generation of Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) gearbox with an autostick feature. This system allows the engine to provide infinite number of gear ratios keeping the engine at its most efficient operating range.
