Default FYI - door speakers

Anyone considering replacing your factory speakers...I just found out that the speakers used in the doors of the Caliber are 6"x9". Not 6 1/2" as most information mentions. I recently discovered this when I replaced the front door speakers. All's OK now and the new Eclipses sound great.

I've had my SXT for a little over one week and I enjoy it a lot. A fabulous vehicle.
Impressions: very quiet engine, fun to drive, plenty of power (impressive for a 4 cylinder), comfortable driver's seat.

Thanks. I agree. Caliber looks great in black...but it's a bear to keep clean! One thing I've noticed with black is that the black trim around the windows and roof all blend in to the body color...a small detail, I know...but it does give it a bit different look without the contrast of color. At first I regretted getting black, but due to people's positive reactions, I'm liking it more all the time. As far as the car goes, I LOVE it. It's a joy to drive. In all my 40 years of driving, I've never owned a car that turns so many heads! That's fun!
