Finally picked up U.S. Spec Caliber after waiting for it for 3 months!! Does anybody have a problem with the chill zone compartment vent slide lever? My will not stay in the open position. I live in England and have to use a local garage for warrenty repairs/service. They are extremely busy. Is there an easy fix? Does any one else have a Caliber in England?

 

Believe the U.S. dealers have been installing foam tape to them as the fix. Search around on this forum, as I know they've discussed this previously.

Yes, there's a problem, and NO there's not a fix. Basically there's just a band-aid for it but putting a piece of foam tape in one of the sliders so it doesn't slide as easy.
