Default Mopar Caliber trailer Hitch

I added a trailer hitch to my caliber, so I can carry bicycles and a small trailer, and just so you know it, if you order the trailer hitch from mopar, (part number 82208756AB), you should also order part number 82209615, the trailer hitch reciever is this weird vertical design, and the second part is the actual ball mount reciever. Even my dealer hadn't seen this one before, anyone wanting pictures let me know, I can throw a couple up here... Loving my Caliber!

Okay picture one is the hitch itself, with the vertical mount. I havne't run the wriring yet, that promises to be fun, since I have a dirt driveway, but that will be another post.

The hitch mounted to the frame in the back with a couple bolts and nuts on the other side. It took all of twenty minutes to install that...you might say it went on without an "hitch" Okay, sorry for that...

Picture two is the receiver itself, i don't know why dodge did this as a two-piece design, but you are going to want to order this at the same time as the hitch...

Pictures three and four are the whole thing together... Overall I am satisifed with it, it was less expensive to order from my dealer, and they are very happy to help out, since this is new for them as well... Now just the block heater and the wiring for the trailer are all that remain.

This is the 1 1/4 opening?

It looks like it hangs low from the bumber. Do you have a wider angle shot of the rear?

I don't khow about UK version. I do know that if I could have waited on this for some better aftermarket hitches, I would have, but i really needed one right away. I haven't been to terribly happy with this one, there is a lot of noise/bumping around one the rougher roads...

It doesn't hang to low at all, it is right up tight witht he bumper, but not touching so that it would rub or anything...
