DODGE CALIBER DOOR ENTRY GUARDS
Does anyone have any of the Caliber Door Entry Guards that you can purchase from dodge?
They are suppose to help the ledge inside the front driver side and passenger side car from getting nicks and such. Do they actually work? I'm lookijng at getting some off of eBay or my local dealership....

I have a set on mine... do they work?? I guess, but I find I drag my foot across the plastic more than on the sill.. do they look good... I think so.. easy to install as well... are they worth what they want for them.. debateable.
They do look nice. I seem to drag on the plastic part as well. It's too bad the metal door guard wasnt for the plastic part. How it the other held on there?
I prefer the ones Kimbo has on his car but they seem to be only for the European market I can't find them anywhere.
If antone finds them there black plastic with Dodge metal inlay let me know.

I have them as well and I've actually dragged my foot across the drivers side one and scratched it a little.
I also think they make the car look better. I'm thinking about taping the outer part off and painting the inside either gloss black or flat black where it says Caliber and where the lines are on both sides of the Caliber. Also in the rear ones I'd paint the lines only as it doesn't say Caliber on the rear guards.
Yes, they do have VERY sticky backing on them. Make sure you get them exactly where you want them BEFORE you take the sticky backing off. Once you put it down, it ain't going anywhere without leaving a mess and basically ruining the door entry guard. Also, I had to use my own alcohol pads because the little tiny pads they provided weren't enough for 4 doors.
