Default Steering wheel radio control problem

I posted this on another forum as well, thought I'd toss it up here as well. I was just wondering if anyone was having any problems with their steering wheel radio controls. When I got the car I only had to touch the arrows and buttons to get the radio to change. Now I really have to push on them, and sometimes they don't change at all.

Anyone else experiencing this? I have to take it in for a few other things (u-connect coming out of the headliner and possible spark knock), just curious if this has been an issue.

Thanks

I haven't had any issues with my steering wheel audio controls and I use them all the time. They are the same controls I had in my '04 Stratus R/T Coupe and I never had any issues with those either.

*Knock on wood* I now have just over 1200 miles on mine and I haven't had any issues what so ever. And this was a Caliber that was rushed through the assembly line and pulled from the quality control checkover before its released from the plant. No leaky sunroof, no spark knock/pining, no leaky rear window washer, nothing at all...

We are having the same problems. They told me they'd replace the switches for us.

That's good to hear, hopefully they'll take care of mine too if they keep acting up. Let me know how it goes if you get them done.

Thanks

I have the same problem. Does anyone knows what reference or bulletin #/recall ( if there's any) I have to give to the Dealer so they can see that I'm not kidding???
