Hey, i have an R/T and it's snowy out now (canada) but i can't seem to get the AWD to engage. i've tried spinning the wheels, over accelerating off the start, sliding around corners, i don't know what conditions need to apply before this works, but that wasn't a cheap feature. i am getting really frustrated with stupid little issues about this car. so far, my tire pressure system is on the fritz, i've busted a key off in the ignition due to the lock not disengaging, and my check engine light keeps coming on. everytime i take it to the dealer that damn light turns off and they all say everything is fine. What a pain. As much as i hated my old Sunfire, i am beginning to miss it's hassle-free driving experiences.....don't get me wrong, my Caliber's a damn hot lookin car with my new jet black tint...next to get black rims. and that black muffler paint sounds pretty sweet. Thanks for that tip!!

It should come on automatically. I've gotten ours to engage a couple of times in gravel.
