I'm going to have to take some cali pics in the snow as we just had a nice down pour of it yesterday. I only slide around 2 times though when turning corners.

The stock tires suck but the car handles very well in the snow. I drove up and down several single lane narrow mountain roads with cliffs on one side. All had fresh snow when we went with no tracks, they all had closed gates at about 6000 ft elevation so there was no travel on them. We have the RT AWD and I really enjoyed how I could get it sideways and just power slide has long asI wanted. Scared the 'BLEEP" out of my wife sliding around corners and coming down those roads, they were icy under fresh snow but I never felt I lost control anywhere. I was curious on how the car would handle these conditions and was impressed, the Caliber was a good choice. The car handled the conditions as good has any vehicle I've owned or drove before and I lived and learned to drive in Anchorage for 24 years before moving stateside

Has been fine in what little snow I've had. So far Albany, NY has a whopping 2" total this year. I'm planning a trip to Buffalo soon, so we'll see how it goes.

I was lucky enough to do my test drive the day after we got 5" of snow. That's pretty much what sold me on the car. I'm coming out of SUV-land, so I was very concerned about what it would be like to drive a smaller vehicle, but the handling was so nice!

The Caliber is no power car, but it's amazingly practical for being a younger-seeming car. I didn't want an old-lady sedan, and the Caliber is definitely not that, but it's just as safe.
