Default SXT Exhaust

Has anyone tried the exhaust system advertised on this site? Same with the cold air. I gotta get some power in this puppy. REW

Hate to tell you, but if you bought a Caliber for power then you bought the wrong vehicle. IMO, the Caliber has the power it needs for everyday usage. Its not made to go from stop light to stop light in 5 seconds. Not the purpose of the car....

For now, I would stick with the MOPAR Caliber Exhaust. Yes, is expensive, but fits guaranteed and will boost HP a little.

Six months later, I did'nt exactly buy this car for mileage or performance. I did drive it before I bought it and knew it was down on power. However, it should at least get out of it's way!!! I believe there are things that can be done to boost power as well as improve Mpg. Spoiled on V-8's

Having one of the TSB reflashes performed on your Caliber may improve the 0 to 20MPH performance by near a second or so. But the CVT is really for elegant non-jerky acceleration.

I've had the mopar Cat-back on mine for a little overa year now and although it did give me a little better performance and sound the fitment in the rear and issues regarding rattling from the muffler are issues that I'm having to deal with. From day one the muffler didn't sit right under the car and Mopar Performance wouldn't do anything about it. I work as the parts manager at a dodge dealership and I've taken it as far as I can to get this resolved without any luck. They won't let on to who the manufacturer is so it can be fixed so basically I'm dealing with the fact that the tips don't line up exactly right and the muffler rattles on occasion. I'd look at possibly the new magnaflow system that's coming out its cheaper and you could probably get them to help if you had a problem.
