Has anyone been able to convert the cig lighter to be hot at all times? I did do a search in this forum, but came up empty handed. The majority of my cell phone recharge occurs in a car, and would like to have that feature in the Caliber as well! Your help in this matter woould greatly be appreciated!

On the UK version the cig lighter is on when the ignition is on, and can be told via the EVIC to stay on when the ignition key is in the aux position.
When the key is out, I am out of the car and so is my phone, so I don't really see why you would want it on all the time... Here in the UK if you left your phone in the car it would probably get stolen

You can fix the power distribution to turn cig lighter on all the time.
Parts are availiable at Walmart,2 single female spades,1 20 amp fuse
and fuse holder.
