Default Caravan body control module

Could someone tell me if the body control module is the big aluminum box in the engine compartment next to the Power distribution fuse block ? And has anyone heard of losing their headlamps from leaving the ignition on. And are the headlamps controlled through this body control module? Thanks.

96-2000 my manual say the drl module is part of the signal/hazard flasher above the four small relays under the dash

I'm not sure what year your Caravan is, but on 1996 thru 2000 models the BCM is under the dash just above the brake pedal and slightly to the left--it has two large multi connector plugs coming out of the bottom. You need to remove the lower dash cover to get at it. I do believe the headlights are controlled by the BCM. The unit under the hood next to the battery is the PCM (powertrain control module)
