Default fuel pressure regulator ticking?

Hi, first post around, car is a 97 dodge caravan with the 3.0L engine.

just replaced the ASD relay as it was buzzing(doesn't anymore), but now i hear what i believe is the fuel pressure regulator ticking, is that normal?(am talking about the thing that goes on 1 of the fuel lines in the engine bay, not the fuel tank, its to the front of the engine), this 1 is now ticking(you can actually feel it), my father says he didn't hear this before he replaced the asd relay.

so is it normal for the fpr to tick?, or does that mean that its going out?

engine seems to run fine currently, revs up fine and its not throwing codes.
