'89 2.5 voyager won't idle- help!
I have an 89 2.5 ltr non-turbo voyager that's been running bad for a long time. Just did:
* compression test- all cyclinders 145-150psi
* pressure checked cooling system- no leaks
* visually inpected cam and confirmed cam timimg
* set spark timing at 12 degrees
* new plugs, wire, cap, rotor, O2, and fuel injector
* checked all vaccuum lines- repaired any leaks
* visually checked AIC (auto-idle control motor)- does not appear to be overextended
The only thing not hooked up is the EGR. When the engine is cold it barely idles but makes good power off idle. Once warmed up won't idle in gear and surges and sputters throughout the whole RPM range. Relatively low milage too- like 80k.
If anyone has any suggestion or ideas... we'd REALLY appreciate it. My poor van runs like a chainsaw!!
Thanks in advance!!

take a timing light and remove the air box/ it a n/a not a turbo right. hook it up to any plug and when it,s running shoot the injecter and see what the spray looks like it should look like a mist if it dribbling or just runnig out . alan
