Everytime I turn the a/c on in my van it kills the engine. The van runs fine as long as you don't run the a/c. I smelled a belt burning too. Would it be the a/c compressor or could it be something else?

 

yep locked up compressor. U are in luck or hope so the compressors are 7years 70k miles because they know there are some out there defective. U can get the compressor and some lines replaced under warranty check with your local dealer.
