All right, I am 90% sure that my BCM needs replacing. See my post titled "I did a dumb thing...BCM?"

Before I spend money buying a used BCM off Ebay I have a few questions that need answering.

1. Does the replacement BCM need to be "synchronized" with my vehicle?
If so, how do I go about accomplishing this?
2. Is it possible that the ground wire (which I understand to be under the passenger seat) might be the
culprit of my failed climate and rear wiper controls? After all, I did soak the carpet inthe frontcabinpretty well. [sm=smiley24.gif]

I just don't have the money to take this old girl to the dealership for service and it has been over 90 degrees and humid here for a while now. Since my climate controls do not work I no longer have AC and I am sweltering!
